Once my website is ready is there anything I need to do?
No, we handle everything for you. We'll keep it running and up to date.
How can customers contact me via the website?
We can list any number of different contact options on the website. Your contact phone number can be listed. We can also list your email address. We'll also include a contact form on your website - this allows customers to send you messages. We'll then forward these messages to your email address where you can reply directly to the customer by email. If you use WhatsApp and are happy to receive messages in that way we can include a prominent link to your WhatsApp account - customers can then send messages here.
Are there any contracts or commitments?
No. The setup fee covers the first year that your website is online. After the first year the monthly fee begins to cover the costs of renewing your web address and keeping your website alive. Think of it as the "rent" for your website occupying space on the internet. There's no long term commitments or contracts - you can cancel at any time. There are no refunds, we'll keep your website online until the end of your current billing period, whether that's the end of the first year, or the end of the month in which you cancel in the second year. If you'd prefer, we can turn off the website immediately.
Is the .co.uk web address really mine?
Yes. However, it must be renewed each year for you to keep it. Internet companies known as 'registrars' look after these addresses, but they require a fee each year to continue to perform this service. We cover this renewal charge for you in our fees. But you're free at any time to transfer your address elsewhere if you decide that you'd rather your website was hosted somewhere else. There are usually no charges to transfer web addresses.
What information will you need from me to set up my website?
Once you place your order we will contact you to find out some more details about what you'd like on your website. We'll run through exactly what you'd kind to appear on your website.
How long will it take to set up my website?
Once we've got all the information from you about what you'd like to show on your website we aim to have the first draft back in your hands with 48-72 hours. If there's lots of information to add it may take a bit longer, but we try to aim to have it completed within 7 days.
What if I'm not happy with the website?
If you're not happy with your website then we're not happy! When you place your order we collect a small deposit to cover the purchase of your own web address. We only ask for the balance to be paid when you're happy with your finished website.
What kind of styles can you create for me?
We can build your website in a number of different styles, have a look at some of the examples to get an idea. If you've got a particular style, font or colour scheme in mind we'll build the site around this.
